AUDITION NOTICE: Pressure

WT is committed to being a diverse and open organisation. Auditions are open to anyone, regardless of background or experience, and we particularly welcome those who have been traditionally under-represented in theatre.

In the tense hours leading up to D-Day, meteorologist James Stagg finds himself at the center of a high-stakes battle over the weather forecast. With the fate of Operation Overlord hanging in the balance, Stagg must navigate conflicting opinions from colleagues like the ambitious Colonel Irving P. Krick, appease the formidable General Eisenhower, and even find solace in the company of Kay Summersby, Eisenhower’s personal assistant. The play explores the immense pressure, personal struggles, and pivotal decisions that shaped the course of history in the days leading up to the Normandy landings.
