The Theatre is a member of the Little Theatre Guild.  For a theatre to be a member of the Guild it must own or control its theatre building and be responsible for its upkeep and maintenance while producing plays on a regular basis with a committed membership.  The LTG was founded in May 1946 so is only just a couple of years older than WT.  If you have any queries about WT and the LTG please contact ltgrep@wokinghamtheatre.org.uk

We are also members of NODA (The National Opera and Dramatic Association).  NODA was founded in 1899 and is the main representative body for amateur theatre in the UK. It has a membership of some 2500 amateur/community theatre groups and 3000 individual enthusiasts throughout the UK, staging musicals, operas, plays, concerts and pantomimes in a wide variety of performing venues, ranging from the country's leading professional theatres to village halls.  In addition to various Regional meetings and workshops NODA organises the annual NODA Summer School for a week in August, an event in which a number of WT members have joined over the years.
